So we got home! I’ve been home for a couple of weeks, surviving two welcome weeks and “white water”. Now comes sorting of pictures, re-writing my diary, some website maintenance and seeing my kin in Slovakia.
As for my home: I am starting work on Aug 1st. Rokycany High school again. Living there as well.
Just to explain the title of this article: Slightly bitter taste of home comes from a locally popular drink, which I am successfully consuming now. Everything is just fine.
I am sorry I cannot let you see any pics from Istanbul, as I haven`t taken any. Actually, I haven`t seen anything either. The trip was not a total flop though. I saw plenty of cars, Besiktas stadium, Balkan disco and a Hospitality club volunteer`s flat.

I finally got to see Athens. Though I missed the big thing - Acropolis, but I am planning another trip. I was muddling through the streets in search of some neo-classical constructions. In some of the pics, there are also classical sights. Athens live by night, so I set my bio clock accordingly. So, most of the pics were shot in the night.

I am sitting at a friend`s from Hospitality Club sweatting blood to make this site work again. Thanks to Klara, older photos from Indian mountains showed up(Kedarnath, Badrinath a Kausani).
The up-to-date map should be functioning by now. Last post will help you find it. I am leaving for North-greek city of Alexandropolis by train and tomorrow to Istanbul. If I get the ticket. I would not like to reexperience last year`s rush and nerves. A calmer way would be welcomed.
Hi all! Thank you for the nice farewell in the ‘Chinese Inn’ and Bowling bar. My stuff is packed and I am leaving for the airport in 20 min. It is hard to leave and I hope to get over it somehow with Klara. Everyone is making their own trouble. It is gonna be fine. Have fun here in Czechia, I will be back in 8 months. I will be seeing you here before that.
Updated: Just landed in Athens, I have to sleep on an airport bench till dawn.
