Where in the world did I last anchored? My last post was from Alice Springs and it contained a waterfall video. It was March then. Where the traces of the hitchhiked cars lead from there?
First I was relaxing in a camp for about a week. I was halfway between Darwin and Adelaide. The hitchhiking was ok, but I needed a rest in that oasis. The camp was not expensive, with a swimming pool and BBQ. So I was buying discounted food and fried it, frying myself in the sun, cooling in the pool and carefully basting with the beer.
A week passed and I was on the road again. The first lift was fast, but only16 km. 1484 left…
I decided to try to get to Ayers Rock. I it is off the main road. And it is not the high season for tourists, so there won`t be many of them.
A few hours of meditation and fly fighting. Then came Mathias, my saviour, a Geman in a rented off-road. I could not expect more, and I rank this lift as one of the best ever.
Mathias took me for a three-day ride in the desert. The first stop was Uluru, then Kata Tjuta and finally even King`s Canyon. And on top of all that, we took an earth road back to the main road. Ironically, we had a puncture on the last 100 km.
Then Mathias took me back to a camp in Alice Springs. And I could start hitchhiking anew. This time just on the main road, Stuart`s highway. Direction Adelaide.

Zdar, psala jsem ti mail, ale asi amm nejakou starou adresu…jak to vypada, jsi uz v Indii? 28. a 29.8. jsme urcite v Delhi, jinak toulani po severu…dej vedet!
Zaprve to neni klokan ale wallaby. A smeje se mi, protoze jsem mu rekl, ze asi prohraju sazku s jednou nekurackou.
Spravny email najdete na strance “O WEBU”. Brzo se presunuju z Bangalore do Bhopalu a hned do Jaipuru. Budu tam snad od 16.8. Klara prijede 18.8. Dalsi planovani bude spolecne, takze se nechame prekvapit.

Kdo se smeje naposled, ten je vetsi wallaby. A kuracky sazky se zakazujou.

Možná jsem fotil wallabiho a vyšel mi klokan. Tak ja nevim…
