All these posts were written in advance in Kuala Lumpur. Now I have set them to be published one by one, while I am wandering somewhere in Australia. I am trying to catch up for the time shift between my blog and my current location. So I am writing tiny little posts without much checking and proofreading. {Not too bad, transl.`s note} So I am sorry for their lower quality.
I got held up a bit longer than expected in Nilgiris. The hills are high and the weather favorable. I became a botanist for a while, since there are scores of fascinating wild plants. I do not have a clue if they belong here, but they are pretty photogenic.
I dropped in Mudumalai as well. The safari is sort of mediocre, but I could see two wild elephants, a few boars, does and peacocks. I relieved my aching back, because I left my cell phone over there.
Nilgiri Hills are quite high. The city of Ooty lies at about 2,000 m above the sea level.
It really is pleasant up there. Except for the city. Indian tourists, supermarkets and stuff. A bit different side of India. I moved to Kotagiri after a small quarrel with a hotel owner. Some moving pictures from the mountains are to be found in the Google video gallery. obrazky z hor(12/1-19/1).
