I did not stay long in the forest. First, nowhere to stay.So I called my friends in Chennai. It took some time, but I was rewarded by an upgrade to V.I.P. I was not to worry. Just go to Top Slip. The names {I had read them from a paper} rang a bell somewhere.:-}
However, the status of a very important person did not stay with me too long. Partly because I did not feel up to it, but mainly because my mobile phone network - Vodafone- did not work around here. {Yes, this IS a negative promotion, because when there is a signal, we are bothered with ads, and there is no Roaming {intl. calls} for TN cards. I only got the names on the paper. My friends from the Ministry of Forestry could not help me any more. I got a room in the end though. IN a V.I.P. place. It was a fortress and the room was big. And disgusting. It`d be fantastic for a 100 rupees, not for the 320. At least I could climb up the roof for game watching. But I could only see a pig, excluding politicians.
The next day`s trekking was not a fiasko, but not a big deal either. The guides are probably not in favour of long walks. So there are just 2-hour walks or elephant rides available. Another reason why escape from the park.

Vidím, že je nutné posílit naše řady. Tak tedy kytičky fotit, i když nejsou pro mě. Kočkama nedráždit. Jinak moc pěkný fotky.
Kyticky fotit budu, kocky taky. Ale vetsinou mi nekam utecou. Fotbal a hory tady na jihu nemaj. Slon je v lihu, stejne jako nasi politici. V pevnosti uz nebydlim. Dnes to mam za 20 korun na zemi, protoze je plno. Ale neber to, kdyz je to tak levne…

Petěrko, tak mu vyfoť nějaký ženský, ať dá pokoj. Ale koukej ať jsou živý..poslední dobou totiž fotíš jenom samé mrtvoly ;)
